About the island of Hvar in Croatia:
The island of Hvar is one of the most sunniest islands in Europe. (If not the sunniest island [about 3000 sunny hours per year])
The length of the island of Hvar is about 70 km, the width about 5 km. There are approx. 14000 inhabitants living on Hvar.
Hvar is situated in the south of Croatia (Dalmatia), near the famous city of Split.
From Split you can take one of the ferries or catamarans to reach our island.
 
Here on the Island of Hvar, there are many trips offered to the neighbour islands for example the islands of Korcula, Brac and Vis. For example there are trips from Hvar town to Korcula town on the island of Korculaand from Jelsa to Bol on the island of Brac. Furthermore there are many trips from the Island of Hvar to Split or to Dubrovnik.
